I usually do therapeutic phlebotomy in Everett because I live in Stanwood. However, because Everett could not offer an appointment in time for me to leave for planned vacation, I was given appt in Lynwood. They were expecting me, took me back for vitals and phlebotomy without any wait time! The phlebotomist was swift and professional. The crew was friendly. Kudos to everyone I met on 8/6/2021.

I have been donating at this location for the last couple years and have had nothing but wonderful service until today 1/30/23. I had a technician, white male, 55-65 (yes I know his name, and spoke to his supervisor but won’t use his name here)that spoke down to me after I had arranged a special circumstance due to a health condition with the front desk. It was approved, but he felt the need to talk down to me,and refused to believe what I was telling him, and would not corroborate it with the other staff. I could not believe his behavior !I was appalled, brought it to the staffs attention and they brought over the supervisor who listened and apologized to me. The damage was done. I want to continue to give blood, but not with any contact with that guy.!

A great cause and good thing to do, but be aware they use your phone number and will call you DAILY if you haven’t scheduled. I’ve gone as far as to tell the person on the other end, after having yet another business call rudely interrupted by them, that I wouldn’t donate blood again until they stopped calling. Yet it continues. Blocked number, and unfortunately I’m just not enthused about going back. I’m sure I will, it’s just extremely frustrating. They’re worse than Comcast!

Great place to donate blood. All staff are nice and friendly. It’s comfortable and you get to eat snacks and drinks after your donation. This is how blood donations go: First you come in and show your ID drivers license, then you fill out a questionnaire. Once done they will measure your temperature, blood pressure, blood iron levels, weight. Then they will prepare and start you for blood donation. Very easy and simple procedure. Blood donation lasts about 10 minutes, the entire process lasts about 30 min-1 hour.

I have no problem with the actual in person staff or services at this location. What I have a problem with is the fact that they refuse to stop calling me incessantly every day asking me to donate again. While I would love to be a regular blood donor, I happen to be pregnant right now, meaning that I cannot give blood. I have told 3 different representatives over the phone that I can’t give right now and to stop calling and it makes no difference. I had to block their number. Its unfortunate because I want to give blood, but every time that number pops up on my phone after I told them to stop calling it seriously makes me consider never giving blood again. Stop acting like worst kind of telemarketers!

I’ve donated platelets here about 50 times and every single time the staff has made me feel like a hero. I just sit there, watch Netflix and let the machine do all the work but I always leave feeling like I did something meaningful. It’s a bit uncomfortable sitting still for an hour but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s no big deal.
