It would be helpful if the app would tell you why you got deferred in the first place…..but, you have to go in and be told. (Something they can do over the phone). It’s bothers me some that no one can tell me why my blood say it’s good to donate that day but once my samples test was taken comes back and it says it’s not (even if it one point off) I think they need to adjust the requirements.

Environment felt unsafe due to how unprofessional employees were behaving. My girlfriend waited 30 minutes to get her blood pressure manually taken when there were plenty of people available to take it. Employees were talking about inappropriate things such as male and female genitalia and what to do with it. Employees were play fighting in-between beds while donors were still hooked up. Employees gave attitude to donors who were attempting to get assistance. They always put my girlfriends cuff on way too tight, causing her hand to go numb. We’ve gone twice now. Will not be back. I recommend literally anywhere but there.

It’s miserable donating here. Unlike all the other centers here I’m required to donate between 900-1000 each time. Which wouldn’t be so bad if the machines were old. Takes me over an hour to donate each time after I’m hooked up. At CSL/Biolife it never takes me more then 40min. Always says no flow or high pressure because the tubes they use are smaller and machines are old. I gave two stars for the staff. There’s a girl with cornrows and another redhead with glasses and colorful hair that are amazing. Accurate pokes. Friendly. They deserve 10/10. Also don’t like that I can’t accurately find out how much I’m getting for my donation after my new donor fees ended. A girl doing my vitals said there’s no way to look I think she was just being lazy.
