Maddy is amazing. She gets me proper every time and does it the way I am most comfortable with. If they ever let her go I won’t be back.Every single one of these people that work here are amazing and I really don’t want to see any of them go so long as I’m going. They are all very welcoming and helpful for any questions you may have. As far as the starting process it’s not that bad just have 2 forms of ID And a piece of mail from within the last 30 days and as long as everything else is good so are you.

Being a new donor is already nerve racking if you’ve never done anything like this before. I honestly thought my experience was going to be great. First couple of times I’ve went got denied durning screening. Once I finally passed and was able to go back.. The Lady who did mine felt very rushed and didn’t want to do it or just wanted to hurry up and get it over with because they are already close to closing.. While getting me hooked up, my arm already started feeling sore and I could FEEL THE NEEDLE! Not sure if that is normal.. called her over to let her know she said “ oh you can feel it “ with an attitude. So she proceeds to “adjust” it. And it literally hurts. She walks away but keeps coming to check on me comes back and keeps messing with my needle then walks away. That’s when I had started feeling super hot and started sweating. She gave me ice packs and fanned me down. Another employee walks by her and makes a comment “ oh I would have just ended her “. She tells me the flow on my left arm is too slow so she’s going to try the other arm. I agree. Another employee walks by and she asks him if he was telling everyone she is going to put in her 2 weeks!! Like what?? and as soon as she wraps my left arm I started with she inserts the needle into my other arm I told her I felt pain as soon as she put it in she said “ Okay that’s it we’ll just end you here” . My Arm hurt and was super sore leaving that place. After taking a look at my arm it looks like when she “adjusted” she took it out then reinserted it into another spot close.. she did not inform me she was doing that. I had no idea til I got home. Never going back to this place !! Going to be a while til I want to go back to a different location to even consider doing this again.

I’ve been going to this donation place for 2 years now. Other than a few past issues, I never had a problem with them… until they sold their company recently. They’ve lowered the cost of donation rate without warning, the vital process seems longer. Also, another problem I’m upset about is, I donated today Friday, finished at 2:30PM… have not receive my $50 yet and it’s been several hours now. I called the first time, lady barely gave me any info & just said it was the banks fault? But mind you, in the past I’ve donated plenty of times Friday/Saturday before closing & ALWAYS got my money on time. But NOW that they’ve switched companies, the experience has gone down. I made another phone call by 5:30PM to try and get an update from another employee but No answer… To me it just doesn’t seem okay to take peoples donation & NOT pay them within a timely matter. Imagine if I needed gas to get home. (I live 30mins away from BPL)

As a full time doctoral student and mom, the $70.00 per donation was helping me get by with the increasing cost of everything. However with cutting the amount paid for plasma donations recently, I’m going to find other ways to make extra income and stop supporting a company that only cares about earning extra profits from my plasma donations. They made huge profits from selling to hospitals as it was, so this seems like nothing but greed to make more for those on top. So disappointed in the $80.00 cut per month. Not worth it anymore.

Staff is absolutely great….however, the new ownership has lowered the amount paid for donation which is very unfortunate. To the owner (kedplasma) You literally sell plasma for millions yet you skimp people on 20$ a week for donations like you can’t afford it? Just because of that cheap move, I’ll look somewhere else whether they pay less or more. I donate to help people fortunately. I don’t need the money, but to skimp even farther down is ridiculous. Typical take over and squeeze corporate mentality in healthcare.

I’ve been donating for years cross different centers and states. Never have i had such issues getting my vitals taken. I will not check in with Cindy or Guenter because they both are rude and have threatened my ability to donate over the positioning of my arms or the way I responded yes and no. Cindy lied to management that I smelled of urine to try and have me deferred once! I have never been so embarrassed and insulted by a BPL team member.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and I showed up on Monday and they ate now paying less. Its now 1st donation $50 2nd $70. And 8th donation bonus is only $20. Gotta find another donation place now.

There is no consistency when it comes to the hours of this location. If you’re reading this and you’re wondering if all the negative reviews prior are still accurate. yes they are the staff at this location can be extremely rude and unfriendly.

I don’t recommend going to that place at all. If I could give it 0 stars I would I have had nothing but trouble from that place you think that it would be a better experience considering I’m putting my time in to help others in my opinion the employees there could be a little better at there bed side manner and at their jobs.
