I recently was able to give blood when Life South was doing a blood drive at Flowers Hospital. The young man who processed my donation was Thomas. Thomas was awesome. Not only was he knowledgeable about what he was doing but the actual venipuncture was the best one ever. Not the slightest bit of pain. Thank you for your service to our community.

I’ve never donated blood before, but I saw their bus yesterday and decided why not. I walked in and they found out my blood type and my eligibility quickly. The man who drew my blood afterwards was very kind and made sure I was okay and offered snacks and drinks. I passed on the gift cards, but they gave me a cool lamp to keep!

This isn’t really for the physical center itself, but the Blood Buses that it operates. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with both teams, and I can say they are some of the best, genuine people you’ll ever meet. The Enterprise travel team led by Amanda has been great to work with and as one who thinks blood should stay IN the body, I’ve had a very easy donation experience with them. I even did double red and platelets most recently!

I donated with LifeSouth for about two years while I lived in Dothan. They were always excellent. Each staff member was friendly and helpful. They made you feel at home and at ease with the donation process. The process went smoothly every time. I never had a bad stick. Staff were responsive and attentive to my needs during the process. They were eager and friendly with follow-ups. I have nothing but good things to say about LifeSouth and recommend everyone who is able to use them to donate, whether once or routinely.

Went to donate blood at their Dothan, Alabama center and waited for 1/2 hour without anyone saying anything. I ended walking out. If they can’t staff the office properly perhaps they should stop sending multiple emails requesting blood donations.

Ive always attempted to give. Sometimes I hadnt been able to due to anemia. Tara has always been so helpful. Ive seen her throughout the years interact with so many. She loves her job and cares about the donor. She strongly represents what your business is about . … Saving lives. You can see it in her actions. Whether it is a hard stick or holding someone’s hand while donating. You are her main concern. She never seems rushed while attending to you even when I’ve been to your blood drives, it can be busy. Ive seen what happens on the bus and seen her had 3 donating blood while one donating plasma. Not one donor was ignored. I admire her energy but as before mentioned she truly loves what shes doing and her actions conveys the. True meaning of this business. You have a excellent asset to your company with her.

Went a gave blood and platelets, was told I would have my cards sent to my email, I told the lady I had a new email and she put it down but didn’t take the old one off, it got sent to old email, I spoke to the lady at the main office and she said she would email the lady that handles the cards, that was a week and a half ago, now everytime I call to find out what is going on I get the run around, sir we are extremely busy today please call back, or let me take your number and someone will get back in touch, never once got a message back, I’ve always given blood but after this and how they handle the misups they create is ridiculous
