Jill is one of the best phlebotomists there is at CSL. Her professionalism is top notch. Her needle stick is outstanding. You don’t even feel her needle stick she is the real and the best. I only could use one arm and it’s never a problem with her. I request her by name every time. She has a true talent and wonderful customer service.

I don’t understand some of the bad reviews. I’m a white male and have had great experiences at CSL Norfolk. First off I don’t know anyone who works here, no friends or family so this is completely unbiased. I am not sure what makes the floor staff move but they seem to work 10 times faster and harder than any other centers in the area. Maybe they receive bonuses for the amount of donors they serve? I’m not sure but I could go to other places and get more money for my donation but would rather go to CSL because I know the staff are on it. Not only do they work much faster than anywhere else but they are always polite and professional. If I knew some of their names I would shout them out but as I stated earlier I have no outside affiliations with any of the employees. If it’s not huge bonuses that set these employees apart from other centers (it should be) but if not it appears to me that they have a few solid staff that have been there for a while and have set a pace and tone that just permeates through the building and encourages others new or old to almost compete at being the best and fastest. If you have ever donated at other places I recommend going to CSL and just pay attention to how quickly these guys move. When I say that they move fast I don’t mean they are being unsafe in any way they take their time with the important aspects of the donations ie needle stick, sanitation, handling blood etc but as soon as they complete those things they fly right back into overdrive. To the owners of CSL I hope that you are aware of the awesome staff you have and understand that they are honestly why myself and I’m sure many others choose to donate at CSL even though I have 2 other centers I pass on my way that offer higher incentives. I’m not a reviewer at all but this is something I have observed for a while now and after reading a few negative reviews felt like they were not getting the correct applause or recognition they deserve. And this concludes my novel about CSL plasma! Keep up the great work!

From the moment I walked in the door I was 100% completely controlled. Even when you go into a courthouse you are not controlled that much. I was told when to sit down where to sit down. Wasn’t even allowed to talk to my wife. One of the most horrible places I’ve ever been.

I would leave -10 stars if possible. This is my 4th time trying to donate here and it is my absolute last. Every single place i’ve donated too has given me no issues whatsoever but this specific company turns me away for anything whether itd be my address on file or a scab on my shin it is absolutely ridiculous how high these standards for such minimal pay. Do not go out of your way to go here when Biolife is right next door. I sincerely hope this company goes out of business and that people realize there are better places that have better standards with better pay. CSL plasma is the worst plasma donation center ever made in the world.

Very rude staff called today to find out why after nearly two months of waiting for a call back I still can’t donate. I Call the young lady had very rude attitude. All I wanted was information or to connect me to nurse. Put on whole for 20 minutes. Now when I call back someone is picking up phone and hanging out back up. This isn’t first time having issues with this donation center. The Manager needs to either train staff better on how to talk to ppl. Honestly don’t waste time going here. Payout is average but the wait time and frustration and level of disrespect you will endure from this staff. I say go to Octapharma Plasma or Girlofs

Today was my second attempt to donate at this facility. I was there nearly three hours I was told that I cannot donate because they assume I have a guy which they could not prove at all I asked can you prove this know there’s no way that they can prove that they’re what am I to do I don’t know they say I think this facility is full of s*** I’m sorry it is the second time that I tried to donate here and burn turned away go through the whole process I don’t know how many people in the eye in the face how many employees have seen my eye red but I have said nothing to do all the way up until the time I got to donate and what I can’t let you donate waste my time for what there’s nothing wrong with me I have proof that I do not have pink eye I think this institution that facilities are is racist therefore I am bringing suit against CSL and every one of those staff members that were there this afternoon
