Donated every 8 weeks here in past couple years. Never had any issue and usually it takes less than 30 mins for me to give whole blood. People working here are always nice and professional.

Collapsed vein. Google it. Very nice people here Always, but i was sent home with a bandage on my arm and a Collapsed Vein. I was unable to give blood because my vein collapsed. I WAS SENT HOME. 5 or 6 hours later i remove the bandage and blood squirts out like a video game. I PANIC… i tape my arm. I’m praying the vein doesn’t give way and i have to go to emergency. I’ve never had blood leave me like that, i’m worried it’ll happen again. I don’t know if it is supposed to heal itself? I’m HOPING it’s collapsed from what i read a Blown vein would have discoloration.

Fast, easy, and really convenient. It’s nice that the SD Blood Bank has a location to donate in the North County area. The staff is friendly, professional, and super quick. I couldn’t be happier with my blood donation experience and will do my best to go back every eight weeks.

Doesn’t matter if you have the first available appointment and show up when they open, you’ll be forced to wait behind other people. I ended up having to wait over 20 minutes past my appointment time at 8:10am. What’s the point of having an appointment?

I’ve been here twice and both times it’s been quick and easy! They are doing an effective job of sanitizing and enforcing social distancing rules right now. The phlebotomists and technicians are excellent.

This is a great place to donate blood. It’s well staffed, clean, and efficient. Parking can be difficult during the week around lunchtime.

Hours designed for people that don’t work or have families, terribly inconvenient for those of us that do. Otherwise, really nice.

Bright, clean, very friendly and efficient. Be prepared to search for the suite though, it’s hidden behind ace hardware
