Waited over an hour to even get to the computer questions. Waited additional 10minutes at the computer. Asked to go to the bathroom ( yes I went before my appointment but I stay hydrated because your are suppose to for donations and I had to go again after an hour of waiting) and to grab a blanket. Was told ok then when I came back I was told I could no longer donate because I left the building to grab a blanket. So short story waited over an hour to be told I couldn’t donate. Waste of my time!!! Then I rescheduled for that day and was turned away again. Guess that don’t need plasma that bad! Also didn’t just turn me away they potentially hurt another human that could have used my plasma because I went to the bathroom and grabbed a blanket !

Very few people can actually hit my vein without causing issues. When I first started coming I dreaded getting the deer in headlights look and the “oops” or “let me grab the supervisor” after screwing up. Since having blown up arms, having to get stuck in both arms, having to end early because of how the needle is positioned, fishing the needle around in my arm, etc. I have been requesting specific phlebotomists on and off. Never had an issue with the 6 or so people that hit my vein without an issue. Now I’m informed no more requesting who shoves a needle in my arm? I keep coming because of the few people that can hit my vein without an issue. I’ve given tons of employees a shot at my arm. Seems like a decent amount of their employees don’t get proper training. They’re using needles. It’s not something that should be taught in 15 mins. I will not be returning because of this.

Update: With the holidays passed, there is no wait time again. I was never contacted, and they weren’t able to find the balance between being overbooked or unavailable. I still feel the base payments need to increase with inflation and COL rising.

Today was my first time going to donate plasma. Despite ending up being denied, I have to say everyone was so amazing! Amy was an absolute sweetheart and walked me through the beginning process. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me. She did her job excellently and you can definitely tell she appreciates the donors.

Horrible customer service. Feels like a plasma mill. Get you in and get you out, without caring one bit about your comfort. I used to love going here, now I get so annoyed at hurrying up and waiting. Plus if you need to call and actually talk to somebody, it’s impossible. I called 13 times in 2 days and left multiple voice-mails. I hate how they make you feel here.

Not a great feeling w/ a specific tech. Asked to have a different tech stick the needle and got major attitude. I had a horrible experience with this tech in the past reason behind asking for a different tech. Forgive me for asking for someone different to stab a needle in my innocent arm

Was a pretty good experience all in all, except for the half hour wait to get hooked up to a machine.

BioLife has outstanding customer service. I’m fairly new, but every time I’ve been in to donate I’m impressed with not only how well organized they are, but with the level of focus to getting people in and out in a safe, comfortable, and timely fashion. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working people at BioLife in my opinion and experience. My first time donating I got a little sick and the staff were so great. They knew what to do and say to make me feel at ease and feeling better in a short time. They were so good that I did decide to give it one more try just because of the employees that worked with me that day. I’m happy to say that because of them I am now a plasma donator.
