Came all the way from Weslaco. Had called ahead to ask if they could see us and what we needed. When we got here, they told us we weren’t in their jurisdiction. They claimed they couldn’t take all of our paperwork either. One of the girls started giving me really bad attitude. When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager. I told her I had called ahead and asked everything before I made the trip all the way out here, she let me know that it wasn’t her fault. I asked her why I wasn’t informed over the phone that there was a location in Weslaco (it was so new that it wasn’t even on maps yet), and she just said she doesn’t know. While I was in the middle of talking, she freaking looked behind me and said next. I’m a first time donor, I guess they don’t really want donations here. They’re extremely rude and will tell you one thing when you call and another thing when you go in. If you’re a bit further, don’t bother coming to this one. The only reason I drove out here, was because the reviews were better here than in McAllen and Edinburg.

Staff need to have more knowledge and a customer service training. Called to find out if a neighbor who had Chemo in the 1970s could donate and all they did was transfer us back and forth and say we had to come in. So we drive from Rancho Viejo into town and go to donate. Once we get there my 59 year old neighbor had someone cut infront of him because no one is monitoring the line. Then they can’t find our address. Apparently Rancho Viejo doesn’t exist in their data base. So they call tech and I ask her roughly how long it will take… she said she isn’t sure. Then after talking to them said “it can take anywhere from 30 minutes till next Tuesday”. Also, the lady who was seeing me was sick and coughing without any form of a mask on. Most health clinics generally require some form of mask or encourage of staff to stay home. We won’t be going back to this clinic.
