We had a nice event from The Blood Connection that was held at Greenville drive. A suite with semi-decent food. We enjoyed it… Until one of the Blood Connection staff members spilled her beer on me and my wife’s seat. After that we just left. My wife was the only black person there in a room full of white boomers.

Recommend giving platelets here or anywhere. Minimum is $25/platelet donation. This is doubly so for those of you who get light-bodied and are scared you can’t fully donate blood as you can just specify to donate platelets only. They allow you to keep your RBCs which helps alleviate a lot of low-blood level dizziness that you would get.

Great staff and very clean location. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a friendly receptionist who got me checked in and then was called back within a couple minutes to do vital check. I was then taken back to give blood and once again greeted by multiple friendly people. Whole process was smooth and easy. Place seemed pretty new and extremely clean.

Really nice place with nice people. The three stars are just a heads up for everyone on a schedule. Making an appointment doesn’t matter. Both times I made appointments I still waited over an hour. This won’t be a problem if you don’t have anything to do that day, but if you work like myself be wary of time and ready to spend 2 + hours

Never again. I had a 3:30 appointment, arrived at 3:15, watched them take people who arrived after me, so I left at 4:27 without giving blood. Why make appointments if you don’t honor them? I’ll be going to the Red Cross to share my blood since my time doesn’t matter. Totally unprofessional.

Great friendly staff and you get a free orange and juice bag please donate they need all types of blood especially the rare kinds, who knows you just might save someone’s life and most of the time that’s true. As Bill and Ted would always say be righteous to one another

Disgusting what you guys did on the news yesterday. Soliciting critical blood donations here under the disingenuous and blatantly false pretense that you ‘sent blood and supplies to Texas’ on the day of the school massacre in Uvalde. Dead people don’t need blood. You guys are despicable. I will NEVER EVER again give you an ounce and I will tell EVERYONE i know who currently donates to go elsewhere. My work is already doing the Red Cross (and they have much better $$ incentives) for our drives. I will make sure everyone knows what you sick people did yesterday. Shame on you.
