I’m completely disgusted by the customer services they provide. I call before hand and ask about what time I can go since I’m a new donor and they close at 3. The lady I spoke with told me to be there before 2. I get there at 1 and they make me wait for about 20 min. Then a lady has a gentleman tell me that they can’t accept new donors cause it’s already 1. I tell him I spoke with a lady before hand on the phone and she said to be there before 2. Since at 2 they stop taking new donors. He then says very rudely “well shes wrong we’re not taking any more donors”. I tried to explain that the lady verified my zip code before hand for this exact same reason, so I wouldn’t take a 45 min drive for nothing. I took time out of my day to come just for them to be extremely rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND.!!!

I have been donating plasma for 4 years. I have donated at 2 centers before switching over to Grifols Biomat in San Marcos. The staff is amazing here. They are kind, alert and interact well with the people to make it an enjoyable experience. The center is always clean and there is always upper management walking the floors to ensure that each person is treated properly and taken care of in every way. Terran is my absolute favorite (his personality and down to earth vibe) makes me laugh and makes for a good experience while I’m there.

Don’t come to this place, the staff is trained horribly and the management sucks. I’ve had to leave early 2 times in 6 visits because the Techs don’t know how to stick a damn syringe. (If you leave early, even if it’s their fault, they only compensate you 10 dollars)

So I went here on a referral from my mom and the new donor guy. I don’t know if he was just having a bad day or what. Still no reason to make me feel super uncomfortable he scoffed in my face when I told him I was a new donor. Be aware I didn’t get his name but he has blonde slick back hair. And i think brown or blue eyes. Again he is the new donor nurse guy. i didn’t want to remember it. Because of how he treated me and others he was also supposed to do my physical. But after the way he treated me and some others too. I didn’t want to anymore couldn’t keep my heartbeat down because i felt so nervous about it.

This is the smallest volume facility I’ve ever donated at and by far the slowest. No communication from the staff, staff constantly taking breaks (after being open 2 hours) , and literally takes their sweet time doing everything . Absolutely dread donating here.
