Staff is great but it seems like the machines are set to stop short on the last cycle before reaching 100 which forces you to have to do another cycle as if they are taking extra plasma. It stops at 99 automatically no matter how close you started to 100 on your last cycle.

I have been a plasma donor since 2019. I have donated plasma at this facility for the last few months. I had an encounter today with a medical screener named Cheryl, white lady with a Karen disposition. I was finishing up a cashapp transaction as I sat down. Then put my phone to the side. She is getting really bent out of shape and pointing to the poster that says no phone. And I don’t mean like a courteous reminder. She was literally going down the sign reading it all in a very loud and angry voice. I said “yes I understand that’s why I put my phone down before we began. But to be honest, I don’t see how looking at my phone impacts what you’re doing while I’m just sitting here.” Oh boy. Out comes the Super Karen. She dramatically drops everything, says do you want me to defer you!!? I said well I haven’t broken any of your rules, and I’m allowed to state my opinion. She didn’t like that and really started threatening me. Well I’m supporting 6 people currently, so I needed that measly $60, and therefore could not afford to say flick off. Which of course is her little point of holding power over people who need the money, and needs to do this little power trip. I was just absolutely stunned. The sheer amount of vitriol from what should have been a simple process. If you go to this place that says BPL PLASMA, but is actually KED PLASMA, watch out for Cheryl/Karen, because boy is she one angry aggressive biotch.

I came for a whole month straight and was able to spin the wheel. Long story short I won a VIP Express pass for 7 days. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to come during the next month. Mind you my voucher didn’t have an expiration date! Well since the lady that gave it to me is no longer here ANTOINETTE didn’t honor my coupon! I come from across town and she didn’t care at all!! I give it a 1 star because if they did the mistake why not honor my coupon that I won! They take advantage or maybe it’s the color of my skin! I came from far so I did stay but will not be returning!

I recommend no one to go there it’s the WROST PLASMA Center in the city of Houston Tx they are very unprofessional, they move only on their time, all they do is talk talk talk instead of working, EveryTime it’s time for screening they tell you some dumb stuff that don’t make sense, they will have you waiting on purpose for 2 or 3 hours straight, they poke hard too deep you’ll mess around bleed out bad smh it’s ridiculous any other Plasma Center Is Cool and professional with their work but not BPL Plasma it’s the WROST center EVER
