Our Mission at Goodwill Memphis is to change the lives of people with disabilities and other barriers to employment through the power of work, education, and empowerment. Goodwill hires and trains workers and provides job training and employment programs thanks to donors and shoppers in our Goodwill stores. We have locations throughout the Midsouth and N. Mississippi. Donations are accepted at store locations and at attended donation centers. Our goal is to make it quick and easy for you to donate your items to Goodwill. Drive up to our doors and a donor attendant will greet you, take your donations, and offer you a tax receipt for your records.

was met at the door carrying a good 1.4 cu foot microwave, and told they were closed until 10, and was then told where to put it. (I suppose because she knew that I’d leave it on the sidewalk and then she would have had to carry it herself.) Very grouchy person working here. Instead of saying something like, “Thank you for your contribution.” I was left with the impression that I had disturbed someone from doing something more important like talking on the phone. S O R R Y FOR BOTHERING YOU! Maybe I can find somewhere else to help people?

We should up a hour before the location in oakland tn was to close and the lady said she could not take our donations because she didn’t have time to sort it and she didn’t want to leave it for in the morning. Open sign was off and she is sitting inside in the dark on her phone! Lazy is the only excuse we seen !!! This is another reason I despise to donate to good will !

The lady was there helped me get my donations into the center even though she had to go out to the parking lot with me. It was frustrating that the cars that were parked in the donations spots were not actually donating but getting food at the restaurant near by.
