Utterly stupefied by how they run the floor here. They will leave 20 beds empty while waiting for a handful of donors to finish their cylce to fill up all the beds at 1 time. Meanwhile there are 50+donors waiting for a Ned. Whoever thought of this complete asinine system needs to be fired. AWEFUL. People time are just as valuable as the lives of those who need thie medication from plasma.

I recently joined the Kedplasma family for plasma donations. The staff was incredible. Very attentive, knowledgeable and kind. From the young man that did my “first timer” introduction and orientation to the ladies who hooked me up to, followed by disconnecting me from the equipment, everyone was smiling and kind to all of us donors. If you had questions, everyone working at this location saw to it that you were provided prompt, courteous responses.

Firstly, I would like to say. Thank you for coming up with a place that can help the community as well as people who are in need. The branch in Bradenton has always been fast friendly. I had a great experience with Shaterra and Shakira. Im not sure if they are still there. I will say this. I have seen reviews that say that their donations take a long time. It’s not the person who sets you up or the machines fault. I am a nurse and have done this many times. If you are going to donate. You need to drink a LOT of water prior to your donations, so your veins are dilated not just the day before but every day if you donate more frequently. The water allows your veins to dilate and allows the blood to flow better which allows the process to go a lot faster. I have been there and they will tell you to drink lots of water prior to donation and after. Please remember that they are trying to serve a large population in a small window. They are paying you! You’re not paying them. I enjoy going to a place where there’s consistency with the same employees. We have all been new at one time or another. Remember to be patient and kind as that is what you would want if you were in their position. Also bring something to keep you occupied for at least 2 hours. If you are new you will need to plan on being their for at least 3 to 4 hours. This was the wait time when I started. Also come with your PATIENCE.
