I love the staff, they are like a family to us. Every couple months when we go there to donate with my beloved wife and kids they welcome us as a family members… Blessing and prayers to the great job they are doing, may the Father bless them in Jesus name, amen

Make an appointment! Quick and easy. Takes an hour out of your day for wait times…paperwork before and 15 min wait for after. They give a drink and a snack. I had Chex mix donate blood today! National shortage…

I am a regular platelets donor and volunteer. Nice community atmosphere, everyone working for a common cause, get blood and platelets to those that need them.

Front desk receptionist was very rude. I came in to translate for my mother who wanted to do a good thing and donate blood. I was told I can’t speak to her during the whole process which I understood. Then, a couple of minutes later, I heard her talking down about us to other employees because we “just couldn’t understand the system for the love of God.” Such a shame that staff like that contributes to the blood shortage. Also a shame that POC are still looked down upon in this day and age.

The manager was rude and uncooperative. My mother and I went in and we were given our registration sheets. My mother finished before me, so she went over to my stall to see if I needed a signature or anything since I am a minor. Apparently she wasn’t supposed to talk to me because the response that we got from the manager was rude and disrespectful. Aside from that, I have seen all of the complaining about there being a blood shortage. If there’s such a shortage, then why exclude SO many people from eligibility? I looked it up and it says that a 16 year old could donate blood with parent consent (ridiculous already), so I went. After doing the registration and giving them my license, they called me over to say that they changed the minimum age to 17. I’m 17 in 6 months. Are you kidding me? What do I not have that someone 6 months older than me does? The worst part is that the manager made one of the other people come out to tell me instead of herself. (We were told by the employee that that’s why). I am so disappointed in the blood bank system. I better not hear any more complaining about a shortage because there are so many other people that should be eligible. You should really change things.

Although I am terrified of needles, I love going to this location and donating blood. They all treat me like a queen. It feels good to know you are helping someone who really needs it.

If you are being careful regarding Covid-19, do not go to this location. When I arrived the guy who was supposed to be taking your temperature outside had a thermometer with a dead battery. In spite of this, he tells me to come on in to the waiting area. Then after looking around for a few minutes, he comes back with a thermometer you put in your month. With no evidence he has washed his hands he sticks it in my mouth. Then I look around the waiting room and I see three or four people who are sitting there with no mask at all because they are eating sweets given after the blood draw to eat inside the waiting area! I could go on but you get the picture . If you are at all concerned about your health find another place to donate blood
