Slowest plasma center in El Paso. There’s always a long line from checkin to actually donating! Employees always just waking around while lines are extremely long. The Hours suck. They need to close later instead of 6pm.

I’m going to provide some feedback that may be in contrast to some of the ones I see on here, but I am being truly honest.

The ONLY reason why I’m giving it a 5 stars is because Miroslava (Phlebotomist) and Yvette (DST) are amazing at what they do I always see them moving at a fast pace like the others. If they’re not there when I go donate I leave cause I know I will stay for a longer time. They both need raises for sure.

Took me a long time to decide to donate, it took them one visit for me to never want to donate again. I will definitely discourage other people to donate. I stood there in the new Donor area without anyone acknowledging me, when someone came in and asked for someone specific they helped them immediately and I was left there again without being acknowledged. Waste of time with such unprofessionalism. Didn’t give it zero stars because you have to give at least one.

I work for a plasma center in the US and thought they won’t give us exact numbers but, it’s estimated that plasma used for pharmaceutical purposes can make roughly 5,000 USD in net profit per bottle. That’s based on the average plasma volume (825ml) because we have donors donate 690, 825, or 880 based on weight and they also factor in under-draws (in case people have a reaction and the donation ends before they reach their intended volume. They don’t pay donors enough and they keep them in the dark. Employees are paid less than half of what other people working in their respective fields would make.

Staff drag their feet and do not seem motivated. Scary to donate at a place with these problems. At 6:00 am they have a line of 15 people and only one person screening so that people will be here longer than necessary. Needs improvement.

As supplemental income goes, CSL is hard to beat. The return for the amount of time invested is quite high. For me (after the promo), it works out about $1/minute. I’ve been able to stay ahead of the bills.

I went to be a new donor a few days ago and my experience was bad. From the receptionists being unprofessional, from the phlebs not knowing what they are doing all the do is talk and ignore donors. I saw this one manager with curly hair flirting with the donors instead of helping. But one thing the female nurses helped out a lot except this one guy nurse didn’t know what he was doing when I asked for help. Would not recommend this place

Totally understaffed. Kiosks don’t work. Last three weeks had to get help to close identity on kiosk and had to wait for help. Only to intake people here on Saturday. Got here before 8:00 and there is a line of awesome donors but now our day it slowed to a crawll. 20 minutes and none have made it to the donating area. It takes (me) 32 minutes but the wait time in and out is ridiculous
