I was a return donor, the service at this location was slow and had issues with following their own rules. I complained and I was threatened because I stated the issue instead of being heard. I brought a guest and WE were being treated improper by management. This establishment needs to do better at making sure people are being properly treated throughout the service.WE WERE VERY patient after 5 hrs….. just for my guest to be told an hour into the service that she needs to loose the blood she donated AND cannot return until November because of their mistakes. They messed up her needle so the poor thing is now petrified of donating due to the staffs lack of communication and empathy,no one told her what was going on until 30 minutes after they turned off her machine. CSL Plasma off of 46th needs to get it together.Their customer service is horrible!!

Trying to donate gave me the runaround they told me I had to come back later because the person to run my social security number was in a meeting. And asked me could I come back later on in few hours? I said yes so I came back around 3:15PM. When I got there the lady said the person had already left.for the day now this is my issue. I’m not rich I came to donate because I have something to do tomorrow that’s important dealing with school and a job now not only do I have to make up the 20 something dollars I spent going back-and-forth on Ubers to this plasma center but also I have to get around to these places as well. I was honestly depending on that money. since my time was wasted, dealing with them, I will not be going back there. I probably won’t ever go to a CSL plasma center and I’m definitely recommending anyone not to go there

Terrance in the nurses station is great. Female nurse and security were nice too. That’s what the 2 stars are for.

Terrible place! Went Sunday closed at noon because they didn’t have enough staff to keep the doors open. I was told by the security guy that they fired seven people this week. Tried again today, was turned away to donate because they had bruised my left arm so bad from last Wednesday when they couldn’t get it. Try to explain to the nurse that was very rude the only arm I ever donate out of is my right arm and it was perfectly fine no bruise, but she still refused to let me donate. It’s very sad. I work at a medical facility and if we treated people the way that they treat people we wouldn’t be in business anymore. If you want to go wait for three hours be treated terrible then go to CSL plasma on 46th St. where the staff hates working there and I can’t keep people.

This place fr needs work my last two times coming have been nothing but problems they didn’t add my money to my card then tried to say I didn’t complete my donation after checking the tapes they made an adjustment so obviously someone isn’t handling stuff right because that also caused me to be deferred which had to be fixed then now the centrifuge opened twice during my donation then I had high pressure returns so my machine kept beeping so after adjusting my needle not once but twice this man walks up to me and says yeah your going home and just ends my cycle so now I have to be deferred poked multiple times by poorly trained staff and my donation cut short

When I started donating again back in June 2022, the facility was a very enjoyable place to come. The employees were all nice and the atmosphere was fun and lively but always professional. I really enjoyed the music they played and loved to listen to it as a way to pass time. Sometime in September the music was cut off. Overtime you can feel that the morale has dropped. It’s like there is zero personality in the lab anymore. The employees are still very nice but their drive is missing. I’ve given 4 stars for the facility’s working staff but took a star away because upper management is running the facility like a prison, creating a cold, dead atmosphere.

My first time donating there, Isabella was there to make sure the process went smoothly and she alleviated all the fears I had in donating. She is an excellent employee and displays friendliness and professionalism, two distinct attributes I found admirable. And it’s not just her, whenever I am donating – I always laugh at how funny the staff over there is.

I have been to a few different donation locations, including some that were not CSL. And the 46th st location seems to be the easiest one to get in & out of. If you go at the right time, there is often a very short wait & sometimes no line at all. Most of the staff is friendly, but there is always that select few employees that don’t even speak to you. Some have it written all over their face that they do not wanna be there. Over all, I would recommend.

I’ve been donating here for 2 years. The staff is great, the facility is clean, and the wait time usually isn’t very long.

The staff are wonderful. My problem is it’s too quiet now that someone complained about the music. Just because someone doesn’t like the culture doesn’t mean everyone else has to suffer. They should go to Greenwood or Whiteland. Maybe they’ll be more comfortable. Update stars are disappearing. I’ve been waiting 3 days now for protein checks or whatever. I have taken the bus 3 days in a row to hear it’s not in. But I can deal with that being late. What I can’t deal with is you could save me 2 bus rides a day by answering a phone. Why do you have a phone number but refuse to answer it.
