They discriminate against homeless people as if homeless peoples blood isn’t good. This place isn’t up to date with welcoming people from all backgrounds. Maybe one day we can live in a non discrimination world, but as of right now, unfortunately, this establishment lacks those capabilities and shouldn’t be allowed to hire workers who discriminate against people’s lives.

They discriminated against me because I don’t have a “permanent”mailing address. I told them I stay at a youth shelter and that the address on my id is my mailing address. So because I am homeless they discriminated against me. I even called 3 hours before they closed to make sure I would have enough time to donate. The Supervisor was nothing but attitude and denied to give me her name. What a terrible establishment.

This place is amazing! Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I went in today to donate, which I haven’t been there in awhile, and I just wanted to shout out Shaun! She is a great conversation starter and made me feel seen. Keep being you Shaun, need more people like you in this world.

My first time visiting was excellent. I read through everything beforehand so I knew it would be around 2.5 hours for the first trip. Everyone was so pleasant and the facility was clean. It normally takes nurses a few tries to get blood from me but not here, one try and we were in business. They don’t take appointments so I don’t understand all the negative reviews.

If you have any level of anxiety I would not donate. The staff is not trauma informed and the way it’s run is okay for those who do not have anxiety but the way it’s setup from the moment you step in to getting you on the donor floor. It’s just all bad. It’s not CSL fault very few companies train staff to be trauma informed. Once they get that training in and revise the way things are tan for donors it will be better and may get them more donors.

Tried to donate for the very first time, brought in my social security and my ID which is required for first time donations. They told me that I needed my w2 because my social security card was laminated???? So it wasn’t good enough for them. I left cause even a picture of my w-2 wasn’t good enough for them and they said they needed a pdf of it. Just super confusing when it should have been easy. Never going back! I even called up the csl plasma in federal way and they said all I needed for my 1st time donating was just my social security card and my ID. Don’t waste your time coming here just to have them put you through a loop! Very disappointed in the experience and no one seemed to know what they were doing.
