So I got scam out of my old donation amount do to “policy”. My old donation was $75 per visit. Recently a new payment structure was rolled out where the max payment is $70 for frequent donations 8 -10 a month. I wasn’t bothered I was still receiving my $75. Till I was asked for a sample which is normal and you can’t donate till the results of the sample come back. Their “policy” is to tell you 14 business but it’s 7 day. So far 7day I came back to get my results they asked for another sample. After 7 I called and they said no results was in. So I gave them additional 7 day to check in on my results they told I have passed but the doctor have put in the system. So I have to wait a few more day. My sample was passed 14 days prior and was never put into the system. So on the 16 day they finally put in the system. With missing damn near a month and change of not done due to the negligence. My payment structure restarted and my payment are $40 and even get back to the max it will now be $70. Just letting other be aware when you having to give a sample you might get”policy “scam out your payment rate.

This is my 4th time here as a new donor. I have had to wait 35 minutes with only 1 person in front of me and over half the chairs completely empty. People started to trinkle in and instead of 2 people waiting it turned into 12 people waiting. I’m watching them dress EVERY SINGLE machine and call NO one up. Then said “Hold tight we are about to start calling people up”. About 25 minutes in and STILL NO ONE was called up! I have NEVER waited 35 minutes and there’s no one in line! I have to go to work. This is COMPLETELY inconsiderate of people’s time. I pump in 35-40 minutes tops. I STILL haven’t been stuck to start pumping and we are now at 46 minutes and counting! I would have been done! Out of the 12 of us only 1 person in this entire section has been stuck and the 11 of us are STILL waiting. This is TERRIBLE. You should want us to get out of here. It makes no sense to hook EVERYONE up at the same exact time because everyone is going to go off at the same exact time and now people are sitting with needles in their arms! This is EXACTLY how you lose a DONOR. CSL doesn’t do this.

Great experience. I’ve donated plasma at other centers before but this one was the best. I was helped by Jonathan and he was very polite and friendly. Just sent a second time and he was here again. He definitely brought a great atmosphere to the place. The other workers who drew the plasma from me were also very kind and made sure I was ok frequently. Over all best experience I have had donating plasma

Typically I’m overly nervous when donating but the staff is great. Jonathon was especially helpful in keeping me calm during the whole process and the overall wait time is never too long. Staff treats donors like actual people and will make conversation and ect. Really great 10/10

This previous experience I am trying to make a learning experience. I went in the center about 5:30 to donate today. I went to work prior in which I work in a federal building meaning, my attire is business professional, no t-shirts and shorts. The lady at the vital area/ station stated, “shirts like that” (long sleeve) you might not be able to donate. I’ve donated with long sleeve shirts on before, but things change and I’m not one to argue so I left. If this is seen can you update the donors or myself with the policy pertaining to the dress code for the donors so I can better prepare myself for future donations.

Octapharma is the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had donating after Octa being my third stop from Kels then CSL. I literally stay 45 minutes from the CSL in my neighborhood catching transit with Octa being almost an hour and 45 min away from my home but I will say this, the professionalism, the attitude of the intakers and floor personnel and overall experience makes it all worth while with the extra travel time twice a week. The lines at Octa if theirs ever one are handled efficiently by the staff with constant movement of donors in line unlike other locations I’ve donated at prior. From the first day I came to Octa It has been professionalism across the board from the first employee I came in contact with Jonathan who made my intake process pleasant with his great attitude and that million dollar smile the entire time cracking jokes keeping me relaxed the whole time going into my third donor location which was frustrating at the time with the extra travel distance not knowing what I now know today about The Buford Hwy location Octapharma, which is simply the best from top to bottom from management down to the very last staff member.
