I found the staff to be very nice. However, the Blood Bank of Alaska wants your phone number more than your blood, as you cannot give blood without it. I was getting multiple calls per day after the last donation I gave a few years ago, so reasonably I don’t want to give them my phone number. They have my address and email as a means of communication. I left without donating.

The only place in fairbanks for blood donations. They do have a decent rewards program for returning donators and the staff are very kind and gentle handed. Very easy and worthwhile. They’re always in need of O and O-!

I’ve donated 3 times now and will continue to donate at this center since the people working there are so kind and good at their jobs. Giving blood was relatively painless and quick and the points incentive program is a nice way to get free stuff. Also, brownie Wednesdays are the best!

I’m scared of needles, but the phlebotomist made it very easy. Great experience donating blood.

What about people that work? We can’t get there between those hours and you’re closed weekend. Should have at least 1 night where you’re open later

For someone who doesn’t like blood, I had a very positive experience. The customer service is great. Everyone working is super friendly and makes you feel totally comfortable.
