I had an absolutely awful experience at this location. I drove across town multiple times to go here and every time (even when my blood met all necessary requirements) they would inevitably just tell me to just come some other time and make excuses as to why they couldn’t take my plasma. Not to mention the location is in a bad part of town. I chose to go to the other location and they took my plasma with no issues whatsoever. In conclusion if you’re looking into donating plasma I do not recommend going to this specific place at all.

I just recently started coming here and late February but since I have been going it’s always been a quick and easy process. Staff very friendly. It’s very clean, It’s a little cold, beds are really comfortable and it very peaceful for real I literally come here sometime just to get a break from my wife and kids for a little bit

this place is genuinely racist. I’m a POC and waited well over 3 HOURS for my retake physical when others came in for the same and were seen asap. I’ve never had a worse experience and this is genuinely unacceptable.

Biomat on Bernard St is an excellent place to donate plasma. The staff is very friendly, and they make the whole process incredibly smooth. The best part was the phlebotomist Megan. She made me very comfortable. I’m not a fan of needles, but she made the experience easy and painless. Definatly recommend this place.

Transferring from Las Vegas here to Bakersfield is not much of a difference. All the workers I cross paths with , are very nice , polite and hard working , I myself try my hardest to stay healthy and I try never to miss a donation. Too me it’s my get away from the outside world , Never been around so many people being healthy all at once lol . I love helping out and saving lives , makes me feel good from inside and out . Yes, extra money comes in handy . But through my eyes I look at it more in saving a life. I’ve even gain more friendships by donating here at the Biomat in Bakersfield California on Bernard Street. I Look forward to coming twice a week it’s like I habit I wouldn’t change for anything , looking at the whole picture it’s a blessing for many ,
