This was my first time at this location and I was attended by Jake. He made it an all-around 5 star experience! He was very welcoming, polite, knowledgeable and seems to really care about his donors. Even his interaction with his colleagues says a lot of great things about him. I’d like to truly thank Jake for making this a pleasant experience, ARC needs more like him!

I’ve been donating regularly now for a little less than a year and the best experience I have had has been here! Great people and took wonderful care of me.

Myself and at least 3 other people were in the lobby at your West Chester, PA location and told that they wouldnt take our donations. We barely got a “sorry” from them. When he pointed at my name on his paper, I pointed out that my telephone number was right next to it, why didn’t I receive a call or email? Looking at reviews, it seems this is a regular issue. Nobody seemed to care that at least 4 of us had given up our Saturday mornings and gas to be told to go back home. This is completely unacceptable.

I can’t count the number of times I schedule and they continuously cancel me. Today was the breaking point. Had a 9:45 whole blood donation appt. which was scheduled weeks ago and after driving 30 minutes and waiting in the lobby almost 15 minutes, a representative told me they were not doing whole blood donations today. The Red Cross constantly emails and calls pleading for a donation but doesn’t have the courtesy to honor an appt. Or, at the very least, send a message informing of the issue. Time to move on to another organization that has their act together.

Got a text less than an hour beforehand that they could not do a Power Red donation as their machine was down. Echoing other reviews, I’ve never had an appointment canceled at any of the other mobile drives.

Seems the center maintains their own schedules vs whatever red cross offers. 3 out of 5 times you walk in with confirm schedule and they show you paper and tell you are not on their paper schedule. Though you are on red cross system schedule. Need to look for another center now after continuous donations for 10 years.

Just donated plasma, and they were wonderful! Everything was super clean, staff were all so friendly and welcoming. My girl, Grace, was the best! She was so sweet, so knowledgeable and make me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be going back here for my next donation!

Unfortunately I fainted and had difficulty after donating. The staff was right there to catch me before I hit the ground. Denecia ( possibly spelled wrong) stayed with me for an hour with cold compresses and Kleenex when I started to cry. I called a friend to pick me up and she walked me to the car. A more loving and caring group I have never seen.

Thank you to Michelle and all the ladies for making my first (and not last) platelet donation a pleasurable experience. Except for the time it takes to retrieve the platelets (about 3 hrs in and out), it was a great experience. they were always checking on me to make sure I was comfortable while I watched a movie. Oh and no bruising .

I tried to make appointments to give blood here three times and they kept cancelling on me! Two of the three times they called about an hour in advance, and the third time they stopped me at the front door. I thought there was an “urgent need”, and I have a much needed blood type. I have no idea what is happening here, but this is ridiculous!
