I had a great experience at this location, especially as a first-time donor. Everyone I came in contact with was competent and VERY nice. Each person from the front desk (Priscilla), and 2 other young people whose names I can’t remember, but were there on Friday, 9/1 around 10:30 a.m., to the sweet young lady (I can’t remember her name either…maybe Sam) who processed me, to the lovely nurse (from Morocco), and the 2 young people who prepared me for donating (as well as checking on me throughout the process), which were Alexis and a I believe her name was Lenny (maybe ? not sure….I know I met a young lady by the name of Lenny, but I’m not sure where she helped me). Each one of them were so patient with me & all my many questions.

Tried to donate today, but after 20 mins past my appointment time I left. I did find the place to be very very busy and kinda dirty not sure I feel comfortable donating there. I did reschedule for an earlier time next week,so hopefully the experience is better.

I couldn’t donate because my protein and iron was to low so I went back and tried again later and they took my blood to see if I was now doing better. This really bothered me and they still haven’t called me back to give me my test results and when I try to contact them I always get a recording because BioLife never never answers their phone. Yet the recording says push 1 for test results so I did still no answers on this matter which is now frustrating because had it been them who had donated their blood sweat and tears and time and gas and money to help they would definitely want someone to let them know what their test results are. So BioLife needs to be more attentive to the ones who came back but couldn’t because of a small infraction that stopped them from making donations. Now the real way I see it is I was grateful to find out I had low iron because it gave me the chance to take corrective measures to try and fix what was wrong with me. So I did. So now all I have to do is see what BioLife says about my test results but I am beginning to think that they don’t care about their donors well beings who have tried to donate but couldn’t. This could in my opinion make me feel like I should never donate again. Much less recommend this place. So come BioLife give me my test results. So I can continue to save lives and make some money.

The ladies at the entrance were the kindest folks I’ve met and they did a lot for us I greatly appreciate they’re service. Miss Priscila will forever be in my heart along with the others of which their names I sadly couldn’t get. Excellent experience 10/10.

Mixed feelings on my first donation. The staff are friendly but two of the front half act as if they were born yesterday. A lot of time was wasted which could’ve been resolved with someone listening for understanding instead of having it based on their own understanding without reason. The two managers here demonstrated their ability to listen with understanding. I will donate here again in the near future and will share my thoughts again then.

This is a review of the experience of donating, not of the purpose of BioLife which is a noble one. – Do NOT believe the one hour promise. It will never be true. This facility takes at minimum one and one half hour to get in and out of, even with an appointment. Over my month of donation, the average was much more like two hours. I showed up one day for my appointment and was turned away because of their processing error. Each time I go in, the intake staff can barely mask their disdain for what they do and whom they serve. To say there is a lack of urgency even with a lobby chocked full of people waiting, is a serious understatement. I understand partly, because it is consistently crowded and feels like you are on the bus, except there’s a needle in your arm. They need to figure out how to get folks in and out if they want quality donors. – half a star, would never return.
