Place claims to need donations, but sent me away because they wouldn’t allow my autistic son that behaved perfectly to stay with me, despite me telling them he is unpredictable and always with me, they sent a universal donor away! And then just google another place right? They seem to have a complete monopoly, even hospitals aren’t taking blood donations….

The staff is so friendly here. The facility is also very clean. The total time it took for me to get checked in, blood pressure check, temperature check, then to donate whole blood was 30 mins. Not bad considering i showed up 30 mins early for my appt, i didn’t have to wait at all, they got me right in. I will definitely be donating whenever i can to help to continue to save lives.

This place is great! I donate fairly regularly and donated convalescent plasma every 2 weeks for a few months. The staff takes really good care of everyone and they’re usually pretty quick. And they’ve always gotten me on the first poke! Hehe I’ll continue to schedule here! Oh, and the lady who works at the front is so sweet! Recommend the whole place for sure! Donating is super important!

Been donating for medical reasons for nearly a year. Every time except today was great. The phlebotomist blew out both my veins. I have the largest veins that are the easiest to stick for blood draws… Now I have to wait till that heals, all while suffering with the symptoms that are lessened by donating blood…

This facility is so clean and comfortable. Vitalant not only takes blood and platelet donations, but also if you are having difficulty regenerating red blood cells you can have your blood taken so it’s not so thick! However if you are giving blood and know it cannot be used because of a disqualification reason you will need to bring in a PRESCRIPTION from a doctor. If you are just wanting to donate blood, you can walk in or make an appointment. To give “whole blood” takes approximately 1 hour. 50 minutes for a 50 question questionnaire and then 10 minutes to give the blood. Vitalant has an awesome canteen area with high quality snacks for after you give blood. Exceptional facility.
