Got to donate for the first time! They asked if I wanted to donate plasma. It was an amazing experience. I will probably do it again soon! Staff was great and make you feel comfy! Learned a ton and the staff answered all the millions of questions I threw at them without hesitation!

I donate here on a pretty regular basis. The staff are wonderful and the facility is immaculate. I follow a low sugar diet, so I used to grab a piece of cheese after. They eliminated that though, so if you’re also trying to eat low sugar I’d recommend bringing something from home.

What a wonderful experience! Kathy is so kind and gentle. The facility is very clean, has awesome snacks and offer bonus gifts regularly (shirts, movie tickets). They are happy to answer questions and provide all the comforts they can. They really make you feel appreciated for your donation.

I really like donating at Blood Source: Their staff is always kind, professional, and accommodating. What I don’t like is the SOP’s they have adopted. I am a distance runner, and because of my aerobic training, my blood pressure and heart rate are customarily lower than others. and often fall outside of the standards Blood Source uses. This often prevents me from being able to donate. I have O negative blood, and it is the one thing I can give without qualification to those who need it. However, being aerobically trained keeps me from being able to donate at least 2 out of the 3 times I go to donate. Blood Source should consider a little broader scope in their SOP’s.
