I have been donating blood and double read since high school… and I just gotta say the red cross has really changed… I never got anything for donating I do it to be a good person and because of my blood type I’m a universal… but there’s always a problem… between attitudes and wait times… I just popped in to the Fayetteville location a while ago not knowing I needed to book an appointment There was only one person donating… and I believe it was three staff members and they look bothered that I just walked in without an appointment… once again I’m doing you the favor of donating but it feels like I’m a bother… also this location doesn’t do double red… it’s a brick and mortar location but they don’t do it… I can no longer support the Red Cross it’s not what it used to be….

I donated blood today at the Red Cross location in Fayetteville. My wife and I have been here several times. This location was clean and bright. The team was helpful and professional, and the snack area was well stocked. I would recommend scheduling a donation here if you can give whole blood, platelets, or plasma. You have the opportunity to help many people with your donation.

I’ve been donating here for a couple of years. The app makes it very easy to schedule. The building is clean and the staff have always been courteous and friendly.

I have donated here twice and both times have gone very smoothly. Staff is courteous, kind, and attentive. The lady who took my blood most recently (Roxanne I believe, though speaking through masks masks it more difficult to hear) even matched my tape to the color of my outfit! There are plenty of snack and drink options for after donation. I highly recommend blood donation in general and this location in particular.

I have donated at this blood bank two times, and the people here are amazing! They do well collecting blood, and have a good attitude overall. Recommend this place for donating blood.

Walked in today and see one person donating blood. The staff tells me they won’t allow me to donate my blood because they won’t accept walk ins. I told them I’m happy to wait as I just drove 30 minutes to give and I’m always getting messages begging for it. The people I encountered here are not compassionate, not dedicated, and certainly not professionals. They’re more worried about not having to work hard than fulfilling the purpose of helping others.

I love making a difference. I donate frequently. Sometimes my hemoglobin is low but they’re nice and respectfully ask me to come back and try again. They’re good people providing a valuable service.

This is pretty incredible that you try to give blood but they don’t want to take your blood because they say they’re too busy and there was about 20 chairs available and they had one person giving blood apparently there’s not that much of a blood shortage if they will turn people away at giving blood absolutely amazing you’re giving something for free and they don’t even want to take it they want to give you some b******* excuse that they’re waiting for somebody to come in to get plasma which I get it that’s fine but you can’t hook me up to just a regular table to give blood apparently the Red Cross doesn’t need blood so apparently there’s not much of a shortage as they say
