I love the staff here. The wait can be long but definitely better than other centers in town. Management has also changed their checking process to ensure it’s seamless and quicker for donors. I have seen lots of improvement over the last year and even left and came back after trying other centers in town.

UPDATE: So the new scam we’re running as of this week is the Chase Bank card scam. I was told by staff to go to Circle K or Walgreens to avoid fees, but they tried to charge me several dollars to buy my money out of their machine at both places. What’s another couple mile bike ride today? I’ve already done 12 miles going to and from this miserable place just this week. The Harbor Freight ATM listed online as a Chase Bank ATM is not accurate. There is no ATM. They don’t want you to get out of paying the fees. The first week’s sale doesn’t even pay 29% of the going rate for a liter of plasma, and the second one goes for well under 50% of the going rate. It is astonishing how greedy these predatory people really are! Oh, and the new stunt being pulled from the last week is that they see that when you go to the question kiosk thing; they are going on and on about why someone did the questions an hour ago and are still waiting. Instead of hiring more people with all that money they aren’t paying me; they just made it so that they can waste more of my time rather than actually do anything to improve wait times. This is why we’re supposed to download their software that does who knows what on our phones so it isn’t obvious how ridiculously long this takes to sell the plasma for no reason whatsoever. Rather than actually do anything about it; they are content to try and hide it as well as waste more of the poor peoples’ time. // I’ll post this in an effort to help my fellow Americans that are being forced to sell their plasma to make ends meet in this once great nation now turned free range tax farm. So your first 4 sales in 30 days will pay $100 each. Then the scamming starts where they will pay you $50 for the week’s first sale and then $75 for the week’s second sale. What a blatant ripoff, right? I might just try the other places just for the new seller money because I’m reasonably certain that $50 is incredibly insulting. These places just use poor people much like pawn shops and other predatory places that prey pretty much exclusively on the poor. Who knows what type of satanic stuff they are really doing with it too. I’ve also found it helpful to bring a hoodie because it is freezing in there, and the saline makes you cold because it is at room temperature. I hope this helps someone.

If you like sitting in one place for half a day for $50, this is the place for you. They have 6 intake booths, but only one is ever functional. Nothing wrong with the other 5, they just don’t put any employees in them.

Only go to this place if you have absolutely nothing else planned for your day. Expect to dedicate an entire day for your first donation. The last time I came here, I dropped my husband off at KED, he was a new donor there. He was in and out in under 2 hours. I was a return donor at talecris and it took 4 hours. There you go people. Talecris is the slowest and most dysfunctional plasma donation place in pensacola. I went for the first 4 $100 payments, but I’m not going back. Employees are nice but VERY slow, most of them are goofing off and joking with each other for about 50% of the time. Not worth the hassle and frustration.

Update!! I’ve now given plasma 8 times and don’t believe what they tell you about the time it takes to get the procedure done! Some days over 3 hours, not once have I been in and out in the hour and half expected wait! Im probably done with this place, not managed well, I would not recommend this place to anyone! I’ve never given plasma so I don’t know what to expect, but I’ve gone in twice, sat in the new donor area, and no employees have said anything, no human anywhere. For hours. I’ve called and been told to walk in and wait, wait, wait. There is no clear directions. It feels completely wrong to not speak or have a receptionist. Do I sign in, no directions! They have a number pull system for returning donors, Do I get a number? It’s not clear! If all plasma places are run like this one I’m probably gonna give up!

I’ve given plasma before but I thought I would try this plasma center since it was closer to my house.

Mismanaged, the perfect display of incompetence. The staff is nice but useless. They barely get the job done, at the slowest pace possible, largely due to the free for all atmosphere offered by the lack ofanyone deserving of a supervisor role. No accountability, low productivity.

I didn’t really agree with the new express line bc the people who use the kiosk are waiting longer so the people who use there phones are in an out but other than that it’s been really good an the staff makes doing this worth it they ask you how your doing an so on a so forth

Sat there for well over an hour waiting to make my second donation after trying to sign in on the kiosk and was never helped by a staff member. Going to try coming back tomorrow but this is just kind of disappointing, hopefully tomorrow’s experience is better.
