We make an appointment, complete our questionnaire online and show the barcode at check in. It’s quick & easy to save a life. Donate blood, plasma, platelets or a combo of all these products, you can save many lives!! It cost you nothing but time, it’s the least we all can do!! All the workers were kind and easy to talk to! Process was very easy and we got snacks afterwards. Had a small play room for children with books and toys which kept my younger child very occupied.

The atmosphere is beautiful, it is a beautiful place. The receptionist is so kind, all the employees are always kind. My 9 year old comes along and they welcome her in the lounge where she eats snacks, drinks juice and waits for me. I love it!

Everyone was very friendly, the phlebotomist listened when I told her where to draw blood, and the whole process was very quick. On top of that, there is so much community support for Houchin, they’ve got the absolute best facilities and recovery items.

Long-time donor tried to slot a blood donation on a Saturday afternoon, but there was a long line: 4 people. I had to leave because of time constraints ; Only one person checking in donors and she did not seem to have a sense of urgency. If you run popular promotions(Fair tickets) please have commensurate staff.

I Went to donate blood yesterday with my Husband . The staff was super nice and quick with the registration process. The nurses were awesome! They made donating blood that much better. The snack area was very clean and organized.
