I was donating plasma here from January 2023 until a week and a half ago. The quality of customer service has decreased drastically since I first started donating here. In my opinion, there is no excuse for having to spend 3-4 hours at the donation center on average to donate, regardless of the amount of workers that are available. A simple solution is to actually pay your workers a fair wage and then more workers would be available, solving the issue of long wait times. Also, what is the point of getting rid of all of the chairs in the lobby for return donors? To me, it sounds like you want people to be uncomfortable and not want to return. It would also make more sense to have appointments so that people can be spread evenly rather than having 20+ people trying to come all at once. Overall, this place needs a lot of work and I would not recommend anyone comes here, so it gets 0/10 rating. Instead, come to a plasma donation center that actually accommodates their customers and is properly staffed (and has chairs). I now go to Freedom Plasma in Killeen, TX and it is definitely worth the switch. Better customer service and better pay (new donor and return donor, plus military bonus). I’m not sponsored by Freedom Plasma or anything, but I just want people to know that better options are available and you don’t have to settle just because you think this is the only plasma place available. I would have never went to Grifols in the first place if I knew about Freedom Plasma.

The staff is unbelievably nice, but they are short staffed so yes, it takes a while. People need to remember you are getting PAID to do this and quit complaining. It is cold in there, a light jacket is recommended. All in all, a great experience. Their app needs improvement and a way to schedule would be helpful, but I’m pleased with them. The last place sent me home with hematomas a lot, these techs know what they’re doing.

I’ve been a donor for at least 4 plus years and I must say this place has been so generous to me.. My first time donor process was stress free and the Manager Mrs. Carolina knows how to handle any situation with kindness as to what I witnessed since I been coming here.. So if anyone is deciding to donate plasma , trust me this place is where you want to be..

On September 4,2023 I walked in the grifols building 8:30am and an elderly aged Filipino lady named maricela or aricela with grey hair was helping a black lady at the front desk, so I decided to wait until she had finished helping the black lady politely so I stood and waited patiently. She was still helping the lady while I was standing there and maricela/aricela randomly got disrespectful and loud to me while addressing, “HOW CAN I HELP YOU!!!”

It literally takes forever very short staff 2 to 3 hours waiting regardless. If you don’t have a whole day to wait don’t go there. But the few workers are nice tho.

Hiring process was unprofessional. Applied for the job, did the phone interview, they then schedule me for an in person interview. I got there they told me the position was full.

This place started off great. It was the first time I’ve ever donated plasma. Helping people and getting a little extra cash never hurt. The experience has turned for the worse. I speculate it’s because many people just don’t follow simple rules because they are impatient. Now you stand in line the entire time and the app (kiosk check in) seems worthless. ‍♂️
