It was my daughters first time donating. She did well, til after the donation. The staff did well managing the situation to make sure she was safe and taken care of.

After donating whole blood at this location SEVERAL times, I can assert that the staff has good days and bad days. On good days, they greet me as a regular and treat me like they’re glad I came. On bad days, they are so invested in their own conversations that customers are almost an afterthought.

Appointments don’t really mean anything at this location. Came on a busy day with an appointment. Waited about 40 mins and still didn’t get called for screening. Finally when a the lady as desk came to get one of us she calls a someone else who came after me and didn’t have an appointment. Lady even told her that I had a one and she didn’t as we were all sitting there and discussing this. Secretary just basically said yeah … still come on back. I instantly got up and left as I had other things to do and they obviously didn’t need me. Never had this issue with Red Cross or Lincoln location even with similar conditions.

Had one daughter donate at this location and an older man made inappropriate comments to her to the point that she left crying and will never donate again. Had another daughter try to donate at a mobile spot and after waiting over an hour finally got to the point of finding a vein. When the other arm worked better she was told there was an hour wait for that arm side machine. She asked if she could leave and go eat lunch with her friends (it was her birthday) and she was told she couldn’t come back even if they’d still be there. After almost 2 hours of waiting. You all are making it difficult to want to continue giving to you.
