The staff is always friendly when I donate. They are efficient at their job and helpful of you have questions. I have found the whole thing goes smoother if you have an appointment but they can usually handle walk-ins.

I have only had good experiences at this location. I wish I could send a message to whoever is in charge of their app. I’ve deleted it because it pops up with a message EVERY DAY that I DO NOT need regarding an app update. Thus the 4 star instead of 5 star review.

Easy and comfortable way to give blood. The ID checking and current health verification is easy. The blood draw is the only work they ask you to do(squeezing). I was done in what seemed just a little time. This place was convenient for me. I will do it again.

Don’t bother scheduling an appointment w/the Garland location, apparently they don’t need donations as bad as they claim. I arrived yesterday and there were 2 men ahead of me, one with an appointment and one as a walk-in. They had only 2 female employees there & the men ahead of me said they’d been waiting a while. One of the men finally left and so did I after being told I’d have to wait another 15 minutes (totally a 30 minute wait WITH an appointment). Oh & I was there back in July to donate and was promised the “free Covid-19 antibodies test” …. still never got the results even though I notified the staff AND still bring it up each time they call me asking for my help… it’s a shame they treat people who ARE willing to help this way.

Went in with my boyfriend Bill Henson the young lady who screened him lied to him and told him he would get 2 92.5 t-shirts for 1 pint a blood cause they couldn’t do 2 pints so when he was about to be finished giving blood they only brought him one 92.5 so he is on the phone with corporate right now to find out what could be done for them lying to him in his face. 2019

As a physician, the personnel here were awesome. From answering the phones to the intake process online to having my blood taken, great peaceful experience.

Apparently they don’t need o+ blood as badly as advertised. You must make an appointment before going and even then you are not guaranteed that they will have room for you. This was explained to me by the young lady at the reception desk who had trouble enunciating only made worse by her face mask. I must have missed these instructions/protocols on the Carter Blood Care website.

I have gone to this place for years. Usually I have a great experience. Last time one of the lab technicians that tested my blood for iron was playing a noise machine. I asked her to turn it off so I could hear her. She turned it down and said she had to have it on. – Really bad professionalism. Then when I had a concern about something they said all kinds of things – like we don’t need your blood….geez I did not enjoy this place. I’m going somewhere else for sure!

I went in to donate today. Been here quite a few times. I went in for my pre-donation mini physical. They told me you could also take my temperature rectally.
