I have been going for almost a year now and have never had a bad experience! Sure, I’ve waited longer some days due to the volume of people, but I go after work so I just put my headphones in and chill. The staff is always friendly and it’s a great way to make some extra money while helping people and furthering research. If you’re healthy and hydrated, and have the ability to read what is required to donate, you’ll be fine!

Staff is very friendly and professional. They guided me through the process step-by-step and ensured I was comfortable with each process.

Great way to make quick money. Friendly staff, very thorough with compliance to state laws and the department of health and safety. I just wish they paid more, most locations pay way more. First 5 donations are $50 each, then $20 first time in the month, $40 each after in that month. Feel free to tell them I sent you. “Robert Hollabaugh”

Very nice employees and they make sure you are comfortable and relax. You get paid $50. Each For the first 5 donation then after that it is $20-$40. They always have bonus awards each week and monthly drawings

I would of given it almost 5 star cause the staff is friendly and they are faster than one I use to donate at. Then downfall is how much they pay. Since I was new I recieved the 5 50s after that it goes to 20 and 40 every week. Is 20 really worth going for? I have to pay almost 4 for the bus..so technically I end up with 16. Is like 3 hours work 16 dollars? Definitely not worth it..a minumum wage job could pay better. They definitely can pay more my last place I donated went by your weight to pay you since the more you weigh more you have to donate. I was making 35 and 45 a week.

This place is a joke! The staff is incompetent and 9 out of 10 of the employees look like they just came fresh out of high school. If someone is sticking a needle in my arm- i would like them to be older than my kid’s babysitter.

The website lists everything you’d need for registration. So ignore the 1 star reviews saying they were turned away because they didn’t bring the right documents. Very friendly staff and not a bad way to make a few extra bucks on demand.

The staff are friendly to clients, but it’s an absolute circus between themselves: they yell and swear at each other on the donor floor, call each other names, argue over breaks, get either in bad moods. If Jerry Springer walked in he’d have a new tv show. Additionally, some of the staff REALLY need to learn venipuncture. I don’t know what they think they’re doing, but I can tell you right now that I don’t want to go back solely because one of their phlebs (Dylan I believe) went too far with the injection site and messed up my arm because he was too busy fighting with another worker about his break while he was sticking me. I’ve never seen any type of professional setting where they act as unprofessional as they were. Even McDonalds shows a better promise for professionalism, which says a lot in Altoona.
