Staff doesn’t listen to you if you tell them that you have tiny rolling veins and need a baby needle. They don’t care and will jab you with the big one and blow your arms out. Never coming back again. The women that run the bays are rude and would rather chit chat than do their job.

None of the workers seem to have a pulse or sense of urgency at all, if they put in as much energy into their jobs as they do gossiping about other employees they might actually get you out of there in less than 3 hours. There are five bays for check in, only one to two are used consistently. There are three bays for donating, only two are used consistently. Workers are yawning while poking you with a needle. It’s embarrassing.

I come here because BioLife’s requirements are too strict, if it weren’t for that I would not donate here. The overall experience is… Fine if you really need the money. Lines really range from 30 minutes to 3 hours. New Donors always go to the front of the line. Always. Doesn’t matter if there’s 6 new donors in a row, and you’ve been next in line for 45 minutes, you have to wait. Yes this is a true story. Staff used to be pretty rude, but they have been hiring friendlier people as of late. If I could suggest anything to management, it would be change the new donor policy. New donors back to back while everyone else stays put in line is absolutely ridiculous. They should bring new donors to the front, ask “was the last donor new?” And if the answer is yes, that new donor is now second in line. The other suggestion I would give, is install some dang benches! Many of us donors work all day and then come here to sell out plasma. At least give us the courtesy of being able to sit while we wait! Also sometimes it seems like there will be nearly a full row of empty chairs and instead of letting us go back to the donor floor and wait in the chair where we will eventually donate, we have to wait even longer while still standing. I don’t care if it’s gonna be another half an hour or even hour before the actual poke, but if the seat is empty, fill it!

Machines need to be recalibrate, get turned away do to high pulse, went to my personal doctor right after, a 5 min drive, had them take my pulse and blood pressure 3 times and each time it was lower then tested at this center. Either the workers aren’t trained or the machines are highly out of date on maintenance

My husband was very happy because they usually have a hard time finding his veins, but today the aide he had found it on the first poke. He was very pleased!

Had to wait outside the door a extra half hour at opening because they were having issues. No compensation for wasting a extra half hour of my time.

I went in to see if I was eligible to donate. The first interaction I had was great. She checked my ID and SSN quickly. The second interaction was the opposite to the first. The first lady asked if someone would do my vein check and the man spoke up with “I’ll do it, I’m bored”. He came over to be grabbed my arm without saying anything or explaining what he was doing. The first thing he says is “Why would you even start”. Excuse me? It’s people like me giving you job security. Never going again.
