Was a great experience the first time around, but I went in today and the girl said my vein infiltrated. She was very careless when sticking me and was talking to her coworker about “hating to come back to work” I was already nervous after that, but then just gave me a sports drink and told me I could leave. She did not tell me how to take care of it afterwards. Her visor had the nickname Qui on it I’m pretty sure. I know reviews don’t really get handled, but I’m really surprised over this. I’m not the type of person to write reviews, but she did not have a good attitude, and went through my vein so I did not get compensated 🙁

The African American ladies that is working is so unprofessional don’t get me wrong I’m not racist because I’m an African American lady myself but why do black people have to stand around and laugh joke and loudly talk instead of getting the people in and out there you joking and laughing while hooking up the machines you just talk entirely too much before checking people in . Please be professional people have things to do and places to go.. Stop all the chic chatting that’s what lunch time is for and I see why this place is rated poorly.

The lady LIED to me telling me I couldn’t give plasma because I had too many tattoos…mind you I haven’t had any new work done in almost a year!! This place is very poorly ran by these woman at this place. DO YOUR JOB or go home and let someone who knows what they are talking about! If I could give this place a rating it definitely wouldn’t even be 1 star!! Get new employees!!!

This is by far the most unprofessional and unorganized facility. I’ve been told 3 different things within 3 weeks. I was told I didn’t need an appointment and to just bring my paperwork back…when I did that I was informed that I would in fact need an appointment. I was ONLY informed to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water the day of and before (not knowing or being told that dairy can affect plasma) If I would’ve known that I would’ve made sure to watch what I was eating.I made the appointment and arrived on that day with MY APPOINTMENT CARD! Turns out I wasn’t put on the schedule. Also, please give your employees a lesson on how to speak with people.

I came so close to contacting an attorney but decided not to put any more energy into this place! The lady in charge is aggressive and disrespectful. If you dare question anything, she will belittle you and dismiss your feelings. I donated once and attempted to donate the second time and they destroyed my arm! It took almost 2 months for the bruises to fade; which of course, caused a deferral. (Not that I would EVER return to Biomat- I have NEVER felt so disrespected) I ultimately went to Freedom Plasma in Statesboro! They are such a class act! If you’re considering donating; I highly recommend you steer clear of Biomat & go to Freedom Plasma! I have never felt so strongly about a business as I do this one!

I’ve donated at the Hinesville location and always had a wonderful experience there. In and out in no time (less than an hour), very professional/friendly staff; so I was excited when this Biomat opened closer to home, but I have been incredibly disappointment both times I’ve visited the Statesboro location. My first day I was in there for 4 hours. The 2nd day I was out faster, but it still took me 2 hours. Might I add that the donation process itself only takes me about 30 minutes. Don’t get me wrong, the staff are friendly enough, but their process just isn’t in place yet. In hinesville, you make an appointment and when you get to the donation area, an employee comes to you ASAP and prepares you for your donation and hooks you up to the machine, and off you go. In statesboro, however, they do not take appointments — the waiting room gets crowded quickly and there aren’t enough staff (I’ve heard them say it themselves). You get settled in and then it takes 2-3 employees to get each donor started on a machine. This place really needs a strategy for a faster process. As much as I enjoy donating, people just don’t have 2-3 hours a day to spend waiting.

The Manager there is Evil she discharged out of Spite just Bcuz I gave blood 1 time at Another plasma center… When She Talked to me She Smurked and Smiled… That She had discharged me … She didn’t half to but it Made her Happy to Not let me Earn my money I Really need Just to eat … I Ran out A GAS after I left there… The Manager was Happy that I couldn’t give my blood donation and Make sum money bcuz she knew I needed the money and She was Happy I Didn’t get it …Some people just Want to Make Life harder … She thought she was Better than me or something
