Employees are lovely. I donate very 8-10 weeks. However, I will be looking somewhere else to donate. I have started getting messages from this company trying to guilt me into donating. I can’t make it ever 8 weeks, I live over an hour away. It cost me $25 every time I donate and it takes half my day. So they send me messages saying drs are going to have to choose who gets blood and who won’t, because I am two weeks behind donating.

HIPAA violations aside, there absolutely is no reason to use a 16 gauge needle for simple blood donation if not doing plasma or platelets. When asked the tech said “its the size I like using”. Wont be going again.
