I come here regularly, and the staff is always very nice and professional. But today I came and this woman named Layla took my vitals. I found the way she talked to me to be very cold and rude, and this is not the first time I’ve felt this way with her in particular. She told me something I already knew, so I said yes ma’am. Then she told me something else, and again I said yes ma’am. I guess the way I spoke offended her because she then called the manager to come over. Immediately after, she said my iron was low (something that has never once happened in all the years I have donated plasma) and deferred me. I spoke with the manager, and though I could tell she disagreed with everything I said, she was very professional as I told her about Layla.

Long wait times and this center is extremely under staffed!!!! When I first started donating here, I would be done with my donation in 45 minutes to an hour. It was a vast improvement from the last company I donated with. Things are very different now. Donation turn around times are more than 2 1/2 hours. I have skipped several donations due to excessive wait lines. Even though the center operates on appointments, there isn’t enough staff to process the amount of donors they allow. Employees have a slow moving attitude and it is understandable. I’m at the point where I am going to stop donating all together. Hopefully management wakes up and returns the center’s operating procedures back to the way it was before. Prior to writing this review, I attempted to reach out to the company on their website using the Contact Us option. I haven’t been contacted back, even though they respond to the review instructing you to utilize the contact us portion on their site.

I’ve been coming here for 1 1/2 years now. I have never had any issues with the site or the staff. From the techs up front to the girls in back everyone is very pleasant. Have to say, I may have my favorites. Bethany (with the long blonde hair) always with a smile and upbeat , never misses my vein. Then there’s Candice, what a sweetheart again always upbeat. The girls make you want to be there. Love the nursing staff too.

I have been donating with this place for w while. I usually alot an hour…the money that you receive is a thank you for your time, not paying you for your donation…but today my appt was at 4:50, I checked in at 4:40, at 5:30 I asked if I could reschedule for the next day. One of the two girls standing there smiled at me and said yeah and went back to talking. Before I left I tried scheduling for the next day. It wouldn’t let me because I was counted ad a donor already even though I had not donated. I asked a gentleman there for help, he was very kind and helpful, but the manager came out and said it counted me as a donor even though I did not donate, but also since I did not donate I did not get money for the hour I was there. I left the doors at 5:40. The next time I CAN schedule to donate is next Tues. This is Ridiculous. I didn’t sign up to hang out for an hour.

Although most of the people/staff are nice, the wait time is utterly RIDICULOUS. It’s not a one time thing either. They are consistently slow and you end up waiting as long as you do for your initial screening. No reason whatsoever I should be here 2 hours just to donate. When you complain they pretend as if they will change things but it doesn’t. And to add insult to injury they will put people ahead of others as if their time is more valuable than others. They seemingly have no respect for others’ time. And they also don’t answer the phones here. Maybe 1 out of 10 calls.

This location is going down hill. Scheduled appointments are a joke. In the past when you show up for your appointment, you were typically in and out within an hour, but now it can take an hour just get in a chair to start your donation. So plan accordingly give about 2.5 to 3 hrs. At this rate, you’ll have half your day taken up to donate here.

Don’t come here. Glad I didn’t go through with my appointment. Most reviews get a GENERIC RESPONSE. Continuous complaints from everyone and now me. I completed all info on website and included I’d have one child. Several weeks later, after wasting gas on a 30 mile drive, I arrive early to my appointment only to be told no children are allowed to appointments. My 8 year old grandson, homework in hand, and I both just stared at the 3 young 20 yrs old or so nurses in disbelief. I wanted to keep my appointment but will not break the law and neglect my grandson. I have nobody else to watch him. I won’t be back, obviously. How could they be so negligent with such vital information, leaving it off of the website? Read all the reviews here before entrusting your life to these individuals.

Never had a hematoma before in the multitude of bloodtests and donations I’ve have done in my life. The lady was joking with another worker over the mic about if she could get the needle in my vien right. Well they didn’t and after alot of poking, prodding, pushing the needle in, out and extreme pain I was left with a hematoma. When they said they had to stick my other arm for the donation I refused and said I wanted to leave to which they responded that if I refuse my arm the next time that I would be deffered, no sorry or nothing. I was given an ice pack and 20 bucks and alot of pain and time wasted. Should’ve stuck to my usual clinic.

This place is so understaffed nobody knows what’s going on. The managers on the floor can’t help do nothing. They are always overbooked. There is no sense of urgency to get people on a bed or off a bed. Is and you wonder why the turn over here is bad. And people wait till it’s worth showing up.
